Rabbi Sigal creator of Sankalpa® – live your heart’s purpose, is a motivational coach, experienced inspirational teacher, rabbi, and artist with training in psychology, art, holistic lifestyle, yoga and meditation. She dedicates her life to sharing methods and inspiring people to live their heart’s purpose; living authentically and joyfully. Her teachings are based in the scientific understanding of neuroscience and the brain, and she applies body-mind methods, multidisciplinary, and multicultural approach in her work. She teaches internationally and facilitates experiences of transformation.
Rabbi Sigal is a popular teacher and a faculty member in diverse academic, holistic, and religious organizations, including Temple University, Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, synagogues, religious seminaries, federations, and the Open Center in NYC. She presented at TED, was featured on CBS Sunday Morning News and National Public Radio.
She has written for a variety of publications including the Journal of Counseling and Development, and the Journal of Loss and Trauma on such issues as creating community in the workplace and difficulties in students’ adjustment in the transition into college.
She is the Rabbi of Kesher Shalom Congregation in Abington, PA. An ordained rabbi with an M.A. in Jewish studies from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and an M.A. in Psychology from West Chester University. A yogini for 30 years, she is trained in many mystical, yogic, holistic, and spiritual modalities. She is also the founder of Integrative Spirituality and the creator of Sh’maYoga™. She is an accomplished musician who has recorded music and chants for yoga and meditation, and is also a visual artist.
