Rabbi Sigal Brier is the Rabbi of Kesher Shalom Congregation in Abington, PA. An ordained Rabbi with an M.A. in Jewish studies from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and an M.A. in Psychology from West Chester University.
Rabbi Sigal, scholar and mystic, motivational coach, is an experienced inspirational teacher and is also an artist with training in art, music, holistic lifestyle, yoga and meditation. She dedicates her life to sharing methods and inspiring people to live their heart’s purpose; living authentically and joyfully. Her teachings are based in Jewish traditions with integration of Eastern traditions, and the scientific explorations in understanding neuroscience and the brain. She applies scholarship, body-mind methods, multidisciplinary, and multicultural approach in her work. She teaches internationally and facilitates experiences of transformation.
Rabbi Sigal is a popular teacher and a faculty member in diverse academic, holistic, and religious organizations, including Temple University, Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, synagogues, religious seminaries, federations, and the Open Center in NYC. She has written for a variety of publications including the Journal of Counseling and Development, and the Journal of Loss and Trauma on such issues as creating community in the workplace and difficulties in students’ adjustment in the transition into college. She is the creator of Sankalpa® – live your heart’s purpose. A yogini for 30 years, she is an accomplished musician who has recorded Hebrew chants for yoga and meditation.
